• Preventive Maintenance: Actions periodicals, previously planned for reviewing and checking the status and operation of equipment comprising the installation to prevent damage arising from bad or deficient components.

• Corrective Maintenance: Actions unplanned repair faulty equipment or components that cause total or partial shutdown of the facility.
